My Review
Stopped after the first chapter.
This was definitely a case of “it’s me, not you.” I am not usually a high fantasy reader, and this one ended up being far too complex for me. Even though I listened to the audiobook and read along with the ebook, I still found myself feeling lost. While the premise sounded intriguing, the style and depth of this story were simply not a good fit for my reading tastes.
