I have been in the 2024 planning mindset lately. If you haven’t listened to them yet, I have two other episodes talking about next year – one is my 2024 reading plans and goals, and I shared a big life update. So if you didn’t hear that one, I am moving next spring. My husband and I are heading back to Colorado, and I couldn’t be more excited. Then, the other episode is a list of my 24 must-read books in 2024. These are books I absolutely want to get through next year.
So now, I’m in the mood to tackle some book series. I’m ready to become immersed in a world or universe and follow really relatable and likable characters. I prefer fantasy series, which I have quite a few on this list, but I also have some sci-fi and romance included.
This year, I wasn’t really in the mood to read many book series. The majority of books that I read were standalones and very popular novels that I heard many people talk about. I started a few series but need to finish them. However, as I’ve watched a ton of BookTube videos and have seen many book reviewers’ posts on Instagram, there are many book series that I’m really interested in checking out now.

I tend to get overly ambitious about my book goals, but I’m hoping to at least start all of these series, if not finish most of them.
